    Sexy Wrestler of The Week

Pump your iron and take your wheat, it’s time to name The Sexy Wrestler of The Week!

Oh, can you give me a hell yeah? That’s a little phrase I stole from “Stone Cold” Steve Austin because it is how I feel. I want you all to say “oh, hell yeah” right now while looking at your screen. IT’S SO LIBERATING. Us wrestling fans don’t give a damn what people think we just want to be live our lives. What better way to live your life than by voting for the sexiest wrestler of the week every week? Well, obviously not much because you all live this way. Let’s see who you voted for this time.

The very man on which Sexy Wrestler of The Week was founded has climbed back into all of your hearts this week. Adam Cole is The Sexy Wrestler of The Week. I created this picture to illustrate that I think Adam Cole could be a magical space-being who is fully capable of spreading love over the planet by blowing intergalactic kisses. It may be a little deep and layered but I was full of tears and power as I created this masterpiece.

ROH Final Battle 2014 Preview and Predictions

ROH Final Battle in NYC. It’s probably going to snow that night.

Giving their thoughts and predictions on what to expect from the PPV are members of the site @JoeySplashwater, @TimWelcomed and @TomBlargh.

    ROH Final Battle

Mark Briscoe vs. Hanson vs. Jimmy Jacobs vs. Caprice Coleman

Typical fun match to get guys on the show. These happen frequently in ROH and often delivers as a nice opener. Hanson has been wonderful to watch this year and I think he has to get the victory here.

    Interest Level: 6/10
    Prediction: Hanson wins.

This should be a nice opener. Don’t have much to say about it besides I think Hanson should win this one. He’s been a delight. Also, Jimmy Jacobs is a personal favorite of mine.

    Interest Level: 5/10
    Prediction: Hanson wins

Alright, Final Battle! Despite being an NYC resident, I’m not going to the show. The venue’s weirdly awkward to get to, it seems badly set-up in terms of seating and the ticket pricing is just wacky (I’m not paying $20 to stand up to watch wrestling, NO CHANCE). Man, I miss Hammerstein.

However, even in spite my whining, I’ll still likely order it because the last one was a good laugh (and my ROH PPV party pictures are testament to that):

Great times. ANYWAY, THIS MATCH. ROH fourways are generally an enjoyable mess, and I’m sure this one will continue that trend.

    Interest Level: 6/10
    Prediction: Hanson wins.

Bullet Point Reviews: ROH Champions vs. All Stars 2014

We watch wrestling shows. We will talk about wrestling shows.

New feature! We will start talking about some of the random wrestling shows we watch with quick thoughts in the form of bullet points.

@JoeySplashwater is starting off the feature that will be a revolving door of usual WOE members. I’m going to give my review of ROH Champions vs. All Stars. Going forward, I look to provide more reviews for ROH, PWG, the occasional Evolve show and other random independent wrestling shows I happen to watch. Maybe old wrestling too.

Enjoy the quick recap and some of my instant reaction when watching the show.

Nigel McGuinness, Adam Cole and Tommaso Ciampa promos

    • Match-maker Nigel McGuinness is out to start the show. Nigel looks happier and healthier in spirit and energy than he’s been since returning to ROH in a non-wrestling role.

    • Nigel announces that Mark Briscoe has poison ivy and will sit out the main event match leaving Team All Stars in need of a replacement.

    • Adam Cole is out to gloat about Briscoe being afraid of him. Cole used the term “story time” before his promo which elicited “story time” chants by the fans for the 2nd show in a row. That seems like a new catch phrase. Mark Briscoe comes out with his poison ivy to chase Cole to the back.

    • Tommaso Ciampa comes out and asks Nigel to replace Mark Briscoe in the Champions vs. All Star main event. There’s some tension teased between Nigel and Ciampa but Nigel agrees claiming Ciampa was on his short list of replacements anyway.

    • Decent segment to set up the change for the main event and everyone played up their current storylines. This was one of the better uses of Nigel McGuinness. Despite watching just about every ROH show and being a huge Nigel fan, I sometimes forget what his role actually is.

Seven Things: Top 7 Wrestlers Younger Than I Am

God damn. This is going to be depressing to write.

I was reading The Wrestling Blog a week ago and one of the questions was asking to compile a list of the best wrestlers younger than you. An idea was fully formulated to write this because as I grow older, I continue to find myself getting quite depressed for a good few minutes when realizing a great athlete is younger than me. I’m still relatively young with my birth date being in February of 1989, making me a healthy 25 year old.

Luckily in wrestling, there are very few wrestlers younger than me and the ones that are, happen to just be a couple of months younger typically. I’ll delve deeper into my insecurities and self doubt as a human looking at the wrestlers younger than me who have accomplished far more than I have in less time.

Disclaimer: This list is based on how much a wrestler depresses me with their age more so than who is the best. Only the most scientific ranking systems here at Wrestling On Earth.

    7. Bo Dallas (24 years old)

Before I researched this, I never would have guessed Bo Dallas was younger than me. In fact, I’d have assumed he was nearing 30 rather than barely being 25. Maybe it’s due to the nature of Dallas being an odd looking individual. I recently watched an interview of Bo that made me appreciate just how awkward of a human being he truly is and I now like him a little more than I used to.

LIVE ROH RESULTS: Michael Bennett’s Bachelor Party Hosted by Adam Cole

That’s right. We’ve entered the live results game. You’ve been served, wrestling community.

Live from beautiful Chicago at a dirty bar. Keep refreshing for updates.

    The Kingdom start the show

Adam Cole looks extra cute in a party hat. The Kingdom will be ringside during every match.

reDRagon defeated Jay Lethal and Truth Martini

Truth Martini hit a Canadian Destroyer. Bobby Fish apparently lost the little ponytail thing he was going for. Still very handsome. Kyle O’Reilly did some cool things and the champs retain.

Veda Scott, Miss Natural and Leah Von Dutch defeated Scarlett, Taeler Hendrix and Mary Dobson

Matt Taven threw dollar bills at the ring but his aim was really bad that you could tell everyone felt awkward.  Romantic Touch is doing pervert things. Veda pinned Scarlett.

    Roderick Strong defeated Mark Briscoe

Roddy is wearing a polo shirt and short shorts. Strong wins by a roll-up and pours beer on his head.

ROH Best In The World 2014 Preview and Predictions

    ROH’s first live PPV. It’s a mullet-free zone.

Giving their thoughts and predictions on what to expect from the PPV are members of the site @JoeySplashwater, @TimWelcomed and @TomBlackett.

Roderick Strong vs. Cedric Alexander in a Submission Match

Cedric Alexander is so young and has a world of potential. This needs to be his coming out party in ROH. Not into the idea of a submission match but you’d assume they have something cool planned to stick this stipulation on it? Either way, it should be an outside candidate for match of the night.

    Interest Level: 7/10
    Prediction: Cedric Alexander wins.

Submission matches are okay. I don’t understand why this has to be one but whatever. I’m hoping this match will make Cedric Alexander stand out even more. He should have a bright future ahead of him. Roderick Strong is pretty much the Alberto Del Rio of the indies currently. He can have strong matches against almost anyone but you never really find yourself caring too much. He’s a great person to help highlight Alexander here.

    Interest Level: 8/10
    Prediction: Cedric Alexander wins.

Not sure why this one’s a submission match, but Cedric Alexander seems to be on the up and up, while Roddy… well, for good and for bad, Roddy’s Roddy. Tim’s Del Rio comparison is absolutely perfect – he’s capable of being in fun matches, but it’s hard to get excited for him.

    Interest Level: 6/10
    Prediction: Roderick Strong wins.

ACH vs. Takaaki Watanabe vs. Caprice Coleman vs. Tadarius Thomas vs. BJ Whitmer vs. Tommaso Ciampa in 6 Man Mayhem for a future TV Title shot

Spots on spots on spots. ACH gonna ACH all match long. You’d think Ciampa gets the win here as the singles star with the biggest reputation in ROH as the other guys are lower on the card than him.

    Interest Level: 7/10
    Prediction: Tommaso Ciampa wins.

This match should be pretty wild. Not much else to say about it. I am not sure who will win so just for fun I’m going to go with ACH because he’s ACH.

    Interest Level: 7/10
    Prediction: ACH wins.

Did you know that Caprice Coleman is 37 years old? THIRTY SEVEN! How is that possible? Anyway, this should be a fun mess. It’s difficult to imagine seeing anyone but Ciampa winning.

    Interest Level: 6/10
    Prediction: Tomasso Ciampa wins.

    Sexy Wrestler of The Week

Get ready because it’s time to name The Sexy Wrestler of The Week! There are fun times ahead. You know that.

Oh, hello. I didn’t see you there. I was just finishing counting your votes for this week. It’s what I do. It’s a lot of hard work but it’s the price I pay so that you can all have a voice. It is essential that we rate people on their looks at least once a week. There’s nothing wrong with that at all.

I would like to mention that this week’s winner is simply fantastic and that all of you who voted did a very good job at saying “hey this person looks better than other people.” You are really cool and are filling your time with important decision-making.

Wow! Adam Cole has been voted The Sexy Wrestler of The Week again! He took a long hiatus after a year of domination but has reached the top spot yet again. Could we see another streak? I doubt it but be sure to vote and come back next week!

    Sexy Wrestler of The Week

It’s Wednesday. That means it is time to name who you voted as The Sexy Wrestler of The Week!

With today’s winner, we may have a new streak on our hands. I don’t know if he can ever beat Adam Cole’s legendary run as Sexy Wrestler of The Week but this is definitely this guy’s third time and second in a row:

Bo Dallas is The Sexy Wrestler of The Week. So, it seems the majority of you have taken a liking to Mr. Dallas. I find it strange but here at Wrestling On Earth we listen to the people. Continue voting on who you want to see as the winner and we will keep counting those votes.

    Sexy Wrestler of The Week

Hold on to your hats because it is time to name The Sexy Wrestler of The Week!

Last week I said I would reveal the secrets of the new vote-counting system in-depth. However, I have received a cease and desist letter from The Sexy  Voting Committee, our governing body. So, I am forced to move on and cut to the chase this week.

    So here we go…

That’s right. Your Sexy Wrestler of The Week is Adam Cole for the second week in a row. I promise it is true even though I can not show you how we tally the votes. Enjoy your week!

    Sexy Wrestler of The Week

Welcome to the biggest event in the history of your life… until next week. It is time to name The Sexy Wrestler of The Week! You’re ready. I know you are. I can see it in your eyes.

I’m back after a long week at The Sexy Convention ’14 and let me tell you, that Fabio guy is one hell of an air hockey player. I was majorly letdown by a plate of mashed potatoes not being able to make it because of international trade laws but he did get to appear at The Sexy Q&A Panel via satellite. He wore a zany tie and it was funny.

While I was there I learned of the newest technology for measuring sexy levels and how to count up to the number 150,000,000 so I’m pretty much a changed man. With this newest technique for counting your votes and the sexy levels of your nominees I can more precisely predict who should win this prestigious award.

I’ll go more in-depth with how this system works next week but I’m tired from my trip and I’m really excited to reveal this week’s winner. So without further ado…

Your Sexy Wrestler of The Week is Adam Cole! I think this winner does nothing but help prove that the new vote counting system is working. I’m glad it was worth it because I had to spend way too much money on a cauldron, litmus paper, and a few other important sexy level measuring devices. But like I said, I’ll explain all of that next week. For now we bathe in the presence Adam Cole’s return to the throne.
