The New Day vs. Cesaro, Tyson Kidd and Adam Rose in an elimination match

      Joey:

Five talented wrestlers and Adam Rose. Imagine if they threw him off the stage before the match?  But really, why is this goof with Cesaro and Tyson Kidd? Any time you start to take them seriously, you see that clown and get a reminder that this doesn’t really matter.

A New Day being a stereotyped gimmick of gospel and preaching has already killed any legs they would have had. That being said, the match should be decent with all the talent involved not named Adam Rose.

      Interest Level: 6/10
Prediction: Cesaro and Tyson Kidd wins.

      Tim:

If Tyson Kidd and Cesaro have to be in a tag team I’m glad they are in one together. A New Day is filled with nothing but talent. These five guys deserve so much more but alas, here they are in a match with Adam Rose. In a better world I’d be way more excited for this but should still be solid.

      Interest Level: 5/10
Prediction: Cesaro and Tyson Kidd win.

      Tom:

Guess what, trolls – I am prepared to give old Adam Rose another chance, if only because Cesaro and Tyson Kidd are solidly good fun and it’d be a bummer if he were to drag them down a bunch. As openers go, this should be decent. Likely better than a bunch of the other undercard matches, at least.

      Interest Level: 7/10
      Prediction: The New Day wins.

The New Age Outlaws vs. The Ascension

      Joey:

I think the New Age Outlaws have too much respect from the fans for this to turn into a heckle match so I can’t see much to look forward to personally. The Ascension will win.

      Interest Level: 0/10
      Prediction: The Ascension wins.

      Tim:

Hey, The New Age Outlaws don’t spike my interest and even though I never had any hope for The Ascension and think they are goons, WWE ruined them from the get-go when they moved up to the main roster. This will be forgettable and nothing but a waste of time.

      Interest Level: 0/10
      Prediction: The Ascension win.

      Tom:

Are we just getting an Outlaws reunion every winter now? As if the season wasn’t bleak enough.

      Interest Level: 0/10
Prediction: The New Age Outlaws win because whatever.

Paige and Nattie vs. The Bella Twins

      Joey:

Paige licking Nattie’s face and putting weed in her brownies provide great storytelling for this match.

      Interest Level: 3/10
      Prediction: The Bella Twins win.

      Tim:

Eh. I want this to be good but it won’t be. Oh well.

      Interest Level: 1/10
      Prediction: Paige and Natalya win.

      Tom:

Is “Fearless” Nicole Bella still Divas Champion? Hmm. Anyway, Paige is a good laugh, hopefully her fabulous REALITY-based storyline continues with Natalya “Nattie” Anvil-Kidd-Neidhart and she throws up in her hair or something.

      Interest Level: 2/10
      Prediction: Paige and Nattie win.

The Usos vs. The Miz and Damien Mizdow for the WWE Tag Team Championship

      Joey:

I’ve loved the feud between the two teams. The Usos get a rare chance to be a part of a storyline and they’ve done a good job. The Miz and Sandow act is still pretty good. Every time they have a match, it’s good stuff and this should be the final one.

      Interest Level: 8/10
      Prediction: The Usos win.

      Tim:

This feud was actually fresh feeling with The Usos getting some time and the involvement of Naomi. Not the best written thing but different at least. Nice to see the really sad tag division getting some storylines like this. Sandow is still great but I think the tag team is close to running its course. The Usos and Sandow are great and the matches have been good.

      Interest Level: 7/10
      Prediction: The Usos win.

      Tom:

I’ve barely watched wrestling this year but Mizdow continues to be one of the things I’ll make the time for. The Usos are, as always, pretty good but hard to be overly excited for. This’ll be fine, just fine.

      Interest Level: 6/10
Prediction: The Miz and Damien Mizdow win.

Brock Lesnar vs. John Cena vs. Seth Rollins for the WWE Championship

      Joey:

I want Seth Rollins leaving this match as champion. Rollins has been the star of WWE for the last 6 months and there is no valid reason for him not being a part of the Wrestlemania main event in some form.

My prediction is that Brock retains. Maybe Rusev costs Cena his chance but I’m not too sure about that anymore. Rollins will attempt to cash in after the match but Randy Orton will return and prevent it. I have no desire to see Rollins/Orton at Wrestlemania but after Rollins being the reason Orton is off TV, you’d have to assume he returns to do something with Seth or else he’d look weak.

      Interest Level: 10/10
Prediction: Brock Lesnar wins. Seth Rollins does not cash in.

      Tim:

This match has all the makings of a good time. Seth Rollins has grown SO much and is just enjoyable to watch. Lesnar is a complete monster and I’ve wanted him to have so many fresh matches since his return. We’ve had him vs Punk and it was awesome but we haven’t had near enough new match-ups for Brock. This sounds so good. Cena can bring it when he’s in the ring with people who make him raise the bar. I want Lesnar to make it to Wrestlemania as champ but I wouldn’t hate Rollins winning either. I don’t see Rollins walking out as champion in any way and I’m pretty sure WWE is going with Cena vs Rusev for the big show. LESNAR ALL OF THE WAY.

      Interest Level: 10/10
      Prediction: Brock Lesnar wins.

      Tom:

What a year it’s been for Seth. This time last year, it almost seemed like it was a given that he’d end up being the member of The Shield who’d end up pushed to the sidelines, but now here he is with the biggest spot of all of them (well, for now, at least).

Triple threats are always an odd proposition but Brock wrestling anyone for the first time is EXTREMELY exciting, especially since this is the first time he’s tangled with a current guy. Remember when he spent a year scrapping with Triple H? AN ENTIRE YEAR. Forget all that though, this’ll be a good time.

      Interest Level: 10/10
      Prediction: Brock Lesnar wins.

      The Royal Rumble Match

      Joey:

Guys I see with a chance:

      Dolph Ziggler: 1%

Ziggler has looked impressive the last few months.

      The Undertaker: 4%

Brockster going back to UFC means ‘Taker may get his win back.

      Daniel Bryan: 20%

Looks to be 100%. On fire. Everyone loves him. Never lost the title he won at WM 30.

      Roman Reigns: 75%

Has yet to have a memorable singles match. Embarrasses himself on the mic every time. Vince McMahon loves him.

I think Sheamus eliminates Daniel Bryan turning heel and the final four are Reigns, Bray Wyatt, Dean Ambrose and Dolph Ziggler with Reigns winning. I hope I’m wrong.

      Interest Level: 10/10
Prediction: Roman Reigns wins. Roman Reigns gets booed worse than Batista.

      Tim:

The most suspenseful ending they could go with here is the final two being Bryan and Reigns but if they want Reigns to win it would make him look really bad to be going head-to-head with Bryan. My gut tells me that Reigns isn’t going to win. They’ve gone in too hard with him and it just isn’t working out. So far he is a flop and they have to know they can’t make him work in time for Wrestlemania. Right? RIGHT?? I doubt they’ll go with a shocking random-person win so I’ll go with my gut and my heart and my dreams and say Bryan pulls this off. Bryan vs Rollins, Cena, or Lesnar all sound amazing as a Wrestlemania main event. Let’s just do that. I always have maximum interest for The Royal Rumble but this year I’m on a whole new level of interested.

      Interest Level: 11/10
Prediction: Daniel Bryan wins. The world seems a bit brighter.

      Tom:

I’m stealing Joey’s formatting, DEAL WITH IT:

      Rusev: 5%

On the off-chance Cena takes the belt off Brock, this could be a reasonable way to put him on a collision course with Rusev for ‘Mania. Super unlikely but look, I like Rusev a whole bunch.

      Randy Orton: 20%

Gotta do something with him at some point (I GUESS).

      Daniel Bryan: 30%

Would they dare put D-Bry in the main event of back-to-back ‘Manias? Probably not! But maybe!

      “The Powerhouse” Roman Reigns: 45%

      Yeah.

I’m guessing the final four will be Bryan, Orton, Reigns and The Big Show because that’s life, baby.

      Interest Level: 10/10
Prediction: Daniel Bryan wins, gotta dream to believe.
