Wrestling On Earth Fantasy Draft: Round Four

      Brad’s pick: SHELTON BENJAMIN

      Brad:

Shelton Benjamin has been a guy I have always been a fan of. He has the best elements of a Kofi Kingston and an Eddie Edwards.

While Shelton may not be the best talker, he makes up for it by pulling off some spectacular moves. He has been in the wrestling business for over 10 years and has worked for WWE, ROH & NJPW.

      Tom’s pick: THE YOUNG BUCKS

      Tom:

Like Kevin Steen, everything about The Young Bucks entertains me immensely. I think it’s a testament to their work ethic and passion for wrestling that they seem to constantly add and refine their personas and how they perform – just compare how they are now to how they were in TNA as Generation Me. As good as they were then, it doesn’t compare to the Young Bucks of 2013.

Every little thing they do just kills me – they’re as athletic as they always were, but from the air guitars to Nick Jackson’s back-flip-to-a-cartwheel-to-a-back-rake to how they sell to the tassles to EVERYTHING, it all feels so complete. Their ‘More Bang for Your Buck’ finisher is also one of the best in wrestling:

The idea that they’re not on weekly national TV is baffling to me, as they’d be an incredible foundation for any company to build a tag division on (which is exactly what I plan on doing). Also, SUPERKICKS!!!

      Tim’s pick: AUSTIN ARIES

      Tim:

This one was picked off the cuff. Austin Aries has been around for awhile and has been incredible during his run in TNA. When his name crossed my mind and I noticed no one had picked him yet I thought he’d be a great name to add to my promotion.

He captivates on the mic and can have a decent to great match with nearly anyone. Having him and CM Punk on the same roster definitely brings some interesting scenarios to mind, as well.

      typicalROHfan’s pick: AJ STYLES

      typicalROHfan:

Aside from Jeff Hardy and maybe Kurt Angle, I’d value AJ Styles as TNA’s biggest asset in terms of starting a promotion. Of all the “homegrown” guys or TNA talent in their prime, AJ likely has the biggest name value and he’s still an excellent wrestler.

Over the last few years, he’s shown he can wrestle different styles and adapt to who he’s facing.  A great guy in the golden baby face role (despite currently playing the polar opposite), he’s also another opponent to face my promotion’s #1 heel, Dean Ambrose.
