Wrestling On Earth Fantasy Draft: Round Five

      Brad’s pick: SHANE STRICKLAND

      Brad:

I first found out about Shane Strickland after getting into CZW in 2012. I was amazed by what an amazing performer he was; in his performances, he showed to me what Shelton Benjamin  did early in his career. I also feel that he has the potential to do some amazing stuff with Bryan and Christian.

There are promotions who focus most of their product on some of the stuff Strickland do. I feel he that he stands out enough from my current roster and that he will be a great attraction.

      Tom’s pick: ANTONIO CESARO

      Tom:

Antonio Cesaro is a guy who deserves to be in main events. He’s capable of having great matches (if you need recent examples, just look at his bouts with Daniel Bryan and Kofi Kingston from this year) and his look and style help him stand out as something exciting. He’s also got a freakish strength that guarantees at least a few memorable spots in every match, like the time he introduced The Miz to the barricades:

I also want to see him wrestle John Cena and Brock Lesnar on a main event level very badly, which is why I need him on my roster

      Tim’s pick: reDRagon

      Tim:

I needed a tag team. There are so many great tag teams around that this was a very hard choice but settled on ReDRagon in the end. My main thing with them was I love their characters.

Kyle O’Reilly and Bobby Fish alone are great competitors so if I were to break them up down the road they could continue on without many setbacks. As a team, they are phenomenal from their characters, to their attire, to the ring. They just have “it.” I felt they would make a great first tag team for my roster.

      typicalROHfan’s pick: BOBBY ROODE

      typicalROHfan:

I love Bobby Roode. And so does just about every veteran wrestler to step foot in TNA. When interviewed during or after their time in TNA, they all say there’s money in Roode. (It pays to be Roode hahahahahahahahaha Get it?) He was one of the first performers to catch my eye in the early TNA days and I thought when he finally got his run as World Champ, he was a top tier all time TNA champion and overall a very valuable performer. From high fliers to big men, Roode can work with anyone.

Some other pros for my Roode pick are if Batman ever takes down Dean Ambrose, I’ll have another top level heel ready. And he’s probably going to marry my daughter and run the promotion when I’m old and senile.
