Everybody loves binary decisions, especially wrestling fans! In This Or That, we’ve forced ourselves to choose between two options that relate to wrestling.
Over four questions, @TimWelcomed, @JoeySplashwater and @TomBlargh will have to choose one of two options and give their reasoning on each of their choices. You can then vote on which one you’d choose, giving you the
false impression that you’re somehow involved and we care about your opinion chance to join the conversation!

Which match would excite you more: Dean Ambrose vs. Seth Rollins Hell In A Cell or Sami Zayn vs. Adrian Neville Ladder Match?
Ambrose/Rollins inside The Cell is confirmed. Rumor has it Zayn/Neville is planned for a December NXT special. We’re speculating about the Ladder Match. Which would you be more into?
The Rollins/Ambrose feud has died down for me since John Cena got involved. Not just because he is involved but it cluttered the storyline. I will say that while Hell In A Cell matches have not meant anything to me in a long time, Ambrose versus Rollins is a feud that seems heated and personal enough to make Hell In A Cell feel appropriate for the battle and I fully believe these two have the creativity and the chemistry to make it something special. “Special” is not the proper descriptor for a lot of the Hell In A Cell matches in recent memory. With the WWE product being so awful lately this match is the one I’m looking forward to.
The Neville/Zayn feud has been well-written and those two wrestlers really bring it every time they step in the ring. When Zayn finally wins that belt it will be a real emotional moment. I feel like adding any gimmick to the final battle of this feud would take away from it for me, even if it is something that I know they could make awesome like a ladder match. I love ladder matches but I just wouldn’t feel it fit in the context of the feud. It wouldn’t hurt it too bad but I do feel like it would detract from the story that could be told in a regular one-on-one match between these two.
Dean Ambrose vs. Seth Rollins Hell In A Cell
Both matches should be great and while it features guys known for their cool moves, this comes down to the story. I just have no emotional attachment to Dean Ambrose. I know he’s talented but when he finally gets his victory over Seth Rollins, it won’t provide anything special to me aside from match quality.
When Sami Zayn finally wins the NXT title, it will be a big moment to me and I don’t even care about NXT! Zayn reminds me of Daniel Bryan where I can’t help but love the guy and want to see him succeed. Plus let’s be honest. Ladder matches are almost always wonderful and Hell In A Cell matches are almost always disappointing.
Zayn vs. Neville Ladder Match
Years of crappy Hell in a Cell matches with no real build and silly finishes have soured me on them, but Rollins and Ambrose were able to make a lumberjack match fun so I’m sure they’ll do something great in the Cell. However, I’m still finding it hard to get that excited for it because of how mixed their Raw segments have been, whereas just the idea of a Zayn/Neville match is immediately super appealing.
I’m starting to get over my apathy towards Adrian Neville because he really is incredible – I just find it easy to forget that for whatever reason. There aren’t enough words to say how great Sami Zayn is, and the story of a strained friendship between the two is simple and works. I’m really hoping this does come to fruition and neither Tyson Kidd or Tyler Breeze are chucked into the mix to muddy things.
Zayn vs. Neville Ladder Match
More likely to be a future WWE World Champion: Rusev or Bray Wyatt?
Rusev has yet to be pinned. Bray is being revamped. Who has a brighter future?
Rusev is who I’m more into. Wyatt has been booked badly and his character has not grown. He constantly spews the same promos and it’s just not looking good to me, however I feel WWE will eventually push Bray Wyatt forward and into that main event scene before they will Rusev. I love Rusev but I just get the feeling eventually the character will hurt the way they book him and he will lose a lot of momentum. Bray Wyatt is already going through that in his own way. They’ll get back on board with Wyatt before Rusev.
I think I actually prefer Rusev but Bray Wyatt has more charisma and doesn’t have to worry about the accent in the long run. Well, kind of. Once Rusev suffers his first loss (likely to John Cena at Wrestlemania), who knows if he can survive not being protected? Meanwhile Bray Wyatt is already being revamped after a few months of irrelevancy feuding with Chris Jericho and Big Show. Wyatt will likely have more opportunity and has the personality to get to that level on his own.
Gotta go with my main man Rusev here, a hero to me and all my fellow migrants living in the United States. I think Bray is capable of greatness and him getting a title run seems inevitable, but there’s still something a little shaky about him. It might be that he just hasn’t had the right guy to feud with, which I think is always going to be the main problem – aside from Dean Ambrose, there aren’t a huge number of other top guys who I could see him completely clicking with, which I think holds him back from holding the title right now.
As for Rusev, while it feels like it’s been forever since they last put the title on anyone with as gimmick as heavy as his, he’s super over and the fact that they’re happy letting him be in the same ring as The Rock is a pretty great sign.
Which wrestling related service would you rather get: Vince Russo’s VIP or TweetSecret?
Vince Russo’s VIP site is $5 for his blogs, podcasts and interviews. TweetSecret is $3 for a month for access to short video clips by a wrestler of your choosing. Wrestlers include Chris Jericho, Rob Van Dam, Daniels, Kazarian and Winter.
Vince Russo is a mess and I can not even begin to give money to him. Part of the proceeds of TweetSecret go to some charity, supposedly. I guess TweetSecret but I feel dirty even contemplating either one of these. But, just get Vine or upload Youtube videos, maybe? I feel like only obsessed fans would get into the TweetSecret thing.
Friends, I must admit to you with great shame – I had a subscription to Vince Russo’s VIP site for a month. Please do not disown my existence among your internet admiration. It was when Russo was donating all money from that day’s sign-ups to charity and the cost was only $3. Needless to say while I don’t regret where the money went, the site is not good.
Russo’s blogs are a mess that run-on and never go to the story he promises. His podcasts are repetitive and he makes fun of minorities names at times. I don’t recommend it. TweetSecret would be alright for someone like RVD, I guess. Imagine him talking about his comics while high AF. If I had to get one, no way would I choose Russo over any option again.
UGH. Neither, please. I don’t really get the point of TweetSecret or how it works – do you have to pay $3 per person? Or $3 for everyone? I don’t get it and it seems completely asinine. However, I think it still must be preferable to the Russo VIP experience. I find him really hard to listen to and there’s something very phoney and off-putting about his ‘New York, bro’ personality. He never really seems to deliver on his promise of inside stories and insights and I haven’t seen him get any guests for interviews that I’m particularly interested in.
Also, if I went with TweetSecret over Russo, I’d have a full $2 extra that I could spend on sweets or an ice cream or something.
Better PBS children’s programme: Sesame Street or Arthur?
Which PBS show you ridin’ with?
I can love a good episode of Arthur as much as the next person but you can’t really compare many children shows to Sesame Street. It’s the big dog. It’s the head honcho. It’s a classic and it is pretty damn cool. Bert, Ernie, Grover, Elmo, Snuffleupagus, Trash Can Dracula… Come on. These are modern day gods. There’s big bird named BIG BIRD. That’s fly as fuck. I’m with it.
Arthur is the greatest television programme of all time. No matter how old I get, a viewing of Season 1 or 2 of Arthur is the absolute best medicine when dealing with the blues or the perfect metaphoric icing to a great day. Sesame Street was just about goofy gimmicks and comedy spots. It’s basically the Chikara of children programming. Arthur is the best in the world.
I will fully accept that Arthur is a terrific show, but Sesame Street is The Fed of children’s programming. Yes, Big Bird and Elmo are a couple of candyasses but Grover, Oscar, Cookie Monster, The Count, Bert and Ernie are all 100% legit superstars who are still capable of five star performances when they put their workin’ boots on. Also, it teaches you how crayons are made and how to count to twelve. Top that, Arthur.
