Miz TV with Daniel Bryan on the pre-show
Joey:
Daniel Bryan and The Miz have always had great chemistry so this should be an entertaining segment. We’ll also get to see Bryan and get the latest on his condition which is hopefully good news.
Interest Level: 9/10 Prediction: Everyone laughs at Miz.
Tim:
Daniel Bryan will be promoting his stuff but just seeing him makes me happy. Maybe he’ll throw some shade at The Miz because he’s just a goon.
Interest Level: 5/10 Prediction: We all end up pointing at The Miz for being a goon.
Tom:
Miz is obnoxious, the commentators are idiots, Bryan is a sweetheart who does his best to promote his book and DVD without giving away too much about what the future holds.
Interest Level: 8/10 Prediction: Daniel Bryan gives Miz a dry slap.
Brad:
I think the idea here is that Daniel Bryan will be out to promote his new DVD and perhaps mention the book. We could hear something about his rehab, but quite unlikely.
Interest Level: 5/10 Prediction: Daniel Bryan plugs his DVD.

More likely to win his title shot at Elimination Chamber: Dean Ambrose or Kevin Owens?
Which upset is more likely?
Tim:
I doubt either one will win but I actually think they’d be more likely to put Cena’s belt on Owens than the world title on Ambrose. Not saying that’s what needs to happen because Cena is doing wonders with the US Championship but I wouldn’t be able to do anything but love it if it did. They treat Ambrose so strange. The audience loves him when he is in the spotlight but WWE never really commits to him. At least Rollins doesn’t need to lose the strap yet.
Kevin Owens
Joey:
This is more of an instinctual answer for me. I can easily visualize Kevin Owens defeating John Cena and holding both the NXT and United States championships in his hands. I can not picture Dean Ambrose being the WWE World Champion. I just can’t form the mental image.
The John Cena Challenge and recent appearances and call-ups of NXT stars has me honestly believing there’s a NXT “invasion” story coming sooner or later. WWE likes to set up a big yearly Summer storyline around this time. Maybe it’s Owens leading an NXT invasion vs. John Cena.
Kevin Owens
TJ:
Neither option seems especially likely, as WWE seems more committed than ever to keeping to long-term plans for their world champion. It just does not seem possible that Ambrose factors in to those plans in any way. With that being said, Kevin Owens is clearly going to be the NXT Champion until at least the next live special, and I’m not sure winning the US Championship helps him in any way because he’ll probably have to lose it someone sooner rather than later. Thus, I predict neither match sees a title change on Sunday!
Oh, I have to pick one? I’ll go with Ambrose, as there is always a chance he wins the title and drops it back to Rollins within a week or two on Raw.
Dean Ambrose
More likely to win his title shot at Elimination Chamber?

* Jim Ross on what TNA or ROH Stars he’d like to see in WWE:
“Bryan Danielson comes to mind of the guys that are still young and healthy enough to contribute immediately. Sting is just barely in that group as he is nearing the end of his active wrestling days I have to guess. Dr. Death (Steve Williams) young and healthy with a manager, could have been a viable opponent for Stone Cold (Steve Austin) before the ill conceived Brawl for it All ended those potential plans. Today I think manager Jim Mitchell, perhaps with a more contemporary make over/look, has the skills to really contribute as a mouthpiece for key talents as well.
Samoa Joe has the skills and body type that remind me of Mick Foley way back in the day as far as being different and having a unique body type. Plus I like his physicality. These are not WWE opinions just my personal thoughts in trying to answer your question.

More likely to wrestle a match at Wrestlemania 31?
Hulk Hogan – 67%, Ronda Rousey – 33%
More likely to become WWE champion again?
Sheamus – 83%, The Miz – 17%
Better anti-American wrestler?
Lance Storm – 59%, Rusev – 41%
Better game?
Air hockey – 68%, Foosball – 32%
Which Kevin Owens match will be better: Samoa Joe or John Cena?
Both will be great but which do you think will turn out the better overall match.
Tim:
The fact that both of these matches are happening is just wild to me. I’m so excited for both of them. Samoa Joe is the perfect challenger for Owens in NXT right now because it doesn’t seem like anyone else can bring him down. The first meeting between Owens and Joe in NXT was impactful just as it was with Owens meeting Cena for the first time on Raw.
Cena vs Owens has a lot going for it though. It’s Owens first main roster match and it’s on a WWE PPV against the biggest name in the company. When Cena has an opponent like Owens he always rises to the occasion and seems way more motivated. I always thought there wouldn’t be a better anti-Cena than CM Punk but the more I think about it the more I realize that the Kevin Owens character is the natural fit. I’d love a rivalry between these two to last for years.
John Cena
Joey:
John Cena vs. former ROH/PWG wrestlers tends to be instant magic. CM Punk, Daniel Bryan, Cesaro, Luke Harper, Seth Rollins and a few others have had some of their best WWE matches vs. Cena because he knows how to adapt perfectly and the chemistry is always there.
With someone as precise in storytelling as Kevin Owens is, he could have a chance at being one of Cena’s best opponents. I’m thinking it will be a special match we remember years from now.
John Cena
Tom:
Good lord, what a question. The Owens / Cena PPV match is the most exciting PPV match for ages. It feels unreal that it’s happening but… well, so does Joe/Owens in NXT. I’m fascinated to see how Joe performs as an official WWE superstar but hearing the rumours about his contract being a limited deal kind of spoils things. He might have great matches, but it seems unlikely that he’ll ever be elevated past the NXT level.
On the other hand, Owens / Cena could be something else entirely. The two seem like they could be a natural fit and Cena seems to relish the idea of having a new foe who can deliver on the mic and in the ring. I’m fascinated to not only see how their match plays out, but also what kind of signals it sends for Owens’ future on the main roster.
My interest level rating is based upon Rhyno hitting this jaybrone with a sick GORE GORE GORE!!! If it doesn’t happen, we’re in for a sad night.
Side note: Rhyno needs to face John Cena for the United States Championship in Philly, Chicago or one of the other places that ECW fans reside in.
Interest Level: 10/10 Prediction: Rhyno GORES this motherfucker.
Tim:
I’m all in on Rhyno beating the hell out of The Lone Wolf. I want a gore through the NXT set. Unfortunately, I see them letting B-Cor get the win here to help establish him as a completely bland sack of domination.
The Motorcycle Wolf has got this. Hopefully Rhyno breaks the ring apron video screen thing or gores a shopping cart again (STILL THE GREATEST SPOT OF ALL TIME).
This match being made is disappointing. I was expecting Emma vs. Bayley. I love ironic ironic Emma being a parody of her former self blaming the NXT world for her downfall on RAW. I think there’s a great story with potential there. Sadly this tag match could be rotten. I don’t have an opinion on Dana Brooke but people whine about her a lot which means she’ll likely be successful. Charlotte has nothing to do in NXT anymore except main event house shows.
Interest Level: 2/10 Prediction: Emma and Dana Brooke win.
Tim:
Bailey, Charlotte, and Emma are more than capable of having an entertaining match and being in the ring with these women will only help Dana Brooke who I think has some potential. This wasn’t my ideal match for some of the ladies involved (Bayley and Emma have great characters that should be put in a place to grow here) but I’ll take it as I’m sure it won’t be a stinker. I feel like it’s a toss-up for who is going to win here so I’ll default to them giving the faces a win although more could probably be made out of giving Emma and Brooke the big “w.”
Interest Level: 6/10 Prediction: Bayley and Charlotte win.
Tom:
I really like Bayley, but I’m not that fussed about anyone else in this match. They’re all pretty good – the jury’s still out on young Dana Brooke, but she seems to have potential – but there’s nothing too compelling about the story behind this. The Emma character is bewildering, though I’m not sure that’s enough for me to want to watch her wrestle.
Interest Level: 5/10 Prediction: Emma and Dana Brooke win.

Curtis Axel and Macho Mandow vs. The Ascension on the pre-show
Joey:
Cosplay Hulk Hogan and Randy Savage vs. Cosplay Road Warriors. What a time to be a wrestling fan. There’s usually a pre-show match worth checking out. This doesn’t seem like one of them.
Interest Level: 0/10 Prediction: Curtis Axel and Damien Sandow win.
Tim:
Get a load of this. The amount of gimmickry in this match is reaching dangerous levels. Sandow is back to impersonating and I’m back to not caring. I don’t expect this to be a hot warm-up for the show.
Interest Level: 0/10 Prediction: Curtis Axel and Damien Sandow win.
Tom:
Poor old Sandow. Poor old Axel, for that matter. Both of them deserve better. Maybe The Road Warriors: Fury Road will fall over or pee their pants or something and this’ll be worthwhile.
Interest Level: X/10 Prediction: Curtis Axel and Damien Sandow win.
Ryback vs. Bray Wyatt
Joey:
I’ve been watching RAW for the most part and I have ZERO memory of any interactions between Bray Wyatt and Ryback. On the bright side, this match is like a Super Bowl of guys to become completely irrelevant after feuding with Chris Jericho. Maybe Fandango will be the referee?
Interest Level: 0/10 Prediction: Bray Wyatt wins
Tim:
Bray Wyatt had another vague bone to pick with someone so here we are stuck with this match-up. I don’t care about either guy and I am almost certain this won’t be anything to write home about but I’m curious as to what this match will even be like. What’s the chemistry here? Will this end in a handshake and The Nexus getting back together?
Interest Level: 3/10 Prediction: Bray Wyatt wins.
Tom:
Such a weird match-up that I’m almost sort of interested? Except for the fact that this is one of the many things that feels like it should be on an episode of Raw. I can’t remember why they’re feuding, I assume it’s the same reason why Bray feuds with anyone (i.e. FUCK KNOWS, HE JUST NEEDS SOMETHING TO DO, NEW FACE OF FEAR ETC.)
